Paul M. Kelly
Chief Executive Officer
Paul M. Kelly joined EcoSecurities in 2009. Mr Kelly came to the carbon markets through the investment banking industry, where he spent 17 years in a variety of entrepreneurial and strategic roles with an international focus, most recently at J.P. Morgan where he worked in the Global Commodities Group. Mr Kelly played an instrumental role in helping the commodities team build an environmental markets business. As Global Head of Environmental Markets Sales and Origination, he helped the bank's clients with managing their environmental markets assets and liabilities primarily by originating and distributing carbon emissions reductions certificates in both the compliance and voluntary markets. He also played a key role in managing the bank's acquisition of ClimateCare, a leading name in the voluntary carbon markets.

James Thompson
Chief Financial Officer
James Thompson (47) joined EcoSecurities in 2008. Prior to joining, Mr Thompson held the position of CFO with Greenergy International, an independent renewable energy company specialising in bio transportation fuels. In addition to this, Mr Thompson held the position of CFO with USIT World and also spent eight years working in the Corporate Finance divisions of ING Barings and Paribas. Mr Thompson began his career with Coopers & Lybrand where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. As CFO, Mr Thompson is responsible for the Group’s financial reporting, treasury and financial management functions.

Adrian Fernando
Chief Operating Officer
Adrian Fernando  (47) joined EcoSecurities in 2007 and has over 17 years of experience in the energy sector. Previously, Mr Fernando was Business Development Director for Star Energy plc, where he was responsible for the development of a gas storage business. Prior to joining Star, he spent almost 12 years at Amerada Hess Limited, including a number of years as the Deputy Managing Director of their energy marketing and trading businesses. Mr Fernando began his career as an Economic Advisor for the United Nations in Central America. As COO, Mr Fernando is responsible for the overall coordination of the Group’s operations.

PJ Browne

Group Company Secretary

Patrick James (PJ) Browne (34) was appointed Group Company Secretary in June 2008. Prior to this, PJ worked for Agcert International plc, where he acted as Director of Risk and Treasury, as well as Group Company Secretary. Before joining Agcert, PJ held a variety of finance related roles at organisations such as Meridian, ESB and Ernst & Young. PJ has a degree in commerce from University College, Galway and is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
