Mark Nicholls
Non-Executive Chairman 
Mark Nicholls (56) was appointed Non-executive Chairman in November 2005. Mr Nicholls has had an extensive career in the City of London where he was head of corporate finance and a main board director of SG Warburg Group plc, a FTSE 100 company. More recently he was chief executive of Royal Bank of Scotland's Private Equity Group. He is currently deputy chairman of Venture Production plc, a North Sea oil and gas operator, senior independent director of Bovis Homes Group plc and a non-executive director of Alexander Forbes Limited, an international financial services group, City of London Investment Trust plc and Portman Building Society. He began his career as a solicitor at Linklaters and has a law degree from Cambridge University and an MBA from City University in London.

Bruce Usher
Chief Executive Officer
Bruce Usher (42) joined EcoSecurities in 2002 as Chief Executive Officer. Mr Usher has extensive experience in creating and building financial services firms. Prior to joining EcoSecurities, he was CEO of Treasury Connect LLC, a financial software firm that provided electronic trading solutions to international banks and institutions. Mr Usher was formerly Chief Operating Officer of the Williams Capital Group, a leading boutique investment bank serving large companies and institutional investors. Prior to that, he spent four years as a Vice President and Trader of Structured Derivative Securities at Lehman Brothers in both New York and Tokyo. Before joining Lehman, he worked for several years trading derivatives at the Chuo Trust & Banking Company in Tokyo. Mr Usher has an MBA from Harvard Business School. Currently Mr Usher holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Columbia University teaching the Finance and Sustainability course.

As Chief Executive Officer and an Executive Director of EcoSecurities, Mr Usher has overall responsibility for the strategic development of the Group. He is also responsible for implementing the Group's commercialisation strategy for carbon credits with direct oversight of EcoSecurities' commercialisation activities.

Pedro Moura Costa
President
Pedro Moura Costa (42) co-founded EcoSecurities in 1997 with Marc Stuart. Dr Moura Costa has 15 years experience in the Carbon Credits market. He co-developed and managed two of the first Carbon Credit projects in the world, initiated in early 1992, and directly contributed to carbon market design through the development of a series of ground breaking milestones, including the first carbon offset verification service worldwide for Societe Generale de Surveillance. In addition, he developed the carbon trading component of the Australian Plantations Timber, a U$50 million forestry investment fund in Australia, and the NovaGerar project in Brazil, the world's first project to be registered by the CDM - EB. Dr Moura Costa has PhD in plant biotechnology from the University of London.

As President Dr Moura Costa is responsible for overall coordination of the Group's operations with a focus on origination and implementation of emission-reduction projects.

James Thompson
Chief Financial Officer
James Thompson (45) joined EcoSecurities and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in January 2008. James Thompson has over 23 years experience in the corporate finance sector and has spent the last five years as Chief Financial Officer with Greenergy International, an independent renewable energy company specialising in bio transportation fuels, based in London. Prior to this, James held the position of Chief Financial Officer with USIT World and also spent eight years working in the Corporate Finance divisions of ING Barings and Paribas. James began his career with Coopers and Lybrand where he trained as a Chartered Accountant.

As Chief Financial Officer, Mr Thompson is responsible for the Group's financial reporting, treasury and financial management functions.

Adrian Fernando (45) joined EcoSecurities in 2007 as Chief Operating Officer. Mr Fernando has over seventeen years of experience in the energy sector, and for the last four years held the board level position of Business Development Director for Star Energy plc, an AIM quoted midstream and upstream oil and gas business. At Star Energy, Mr Fernando was responsible for the development of a gas storage business, including negotiation of long term off-take agreements, resolving regulatory issues and setting up commercial operations. Prior to joining Star, he spent almost 12 years at Amerada Hess Limited where he held several positions, culminating in the position of Deputy Managing Director of Amerada Energy Marketing and Trading. Mr Fernando has a BA in Economics and an MPhil in Development Studies. He began his career as an Economic Advisor for the United Nations in Central America.

As EcoSecurities' Chief Operating Officer, Mr Fernando will be running all operational aspects of the company, with an initial focus on developing and improving organisational systems and processes globally. His specific emphasis will be on the core activities of Origination and Implementation of carbon credits for the Group.

Tom Byrne

Tom Byrne (55) was appointed as a Non-executive Director in November 2005. Mr Byrne was head of corporate finance at Davy Stockbrokers in Dublin until 2001. Prior to joining Davy Stockbrokers in 1987, he was a partner at Arthur Andersen. He is currently a non-executive director of Oglesby & Butler plc and is on the board of Irish Takeover Panel and a number of private companies. Mr Byrne has a degree in commerce from University College, Dublin and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Paul Ezekiel
Non-Executive Director
Paul Ezekiel (43) is a Managing Director with Credit Suisse. Based in New York, he
runs the bank's Environmental Markets trading business which includes Carbon
trading. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Paul co-founded and acted as President
of Antipodean Partners, a specialty merchant bank and advisory firm in the
environmental and climate change industry. Paul has also worked with SoundView Technology Group (formerly Wit Capital), Bank of America Securities and First Boston. Paul has been appointed as an advisor to the State of California as a member of its Market Advisory Committee. He holds an MBA from Cornell University and is formerly an MD, specializing in Neurosurgery.

Alec Dreyer (49) was appointed as non-Executive Director in February 2008. Based in Houston, Texas, Mr. Dreyer, until recently, served as Chief Executive Officer of Horizon Wind Energy LLC, a Company that developed, built and operated wind farms in Washington, Oklahoma, New York, Texas and Illinois, USA. Preceding this, Mr. Dreyer served as President of Dynegy Inc’s Generation Division where he managed approximately 13,000 megawatts of generation with 10 officers and approximately 1,200 employees. Mr. Dreyer is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Comverge Inc, a leading clean energy company which provides demand response and advanced metering solutions to electricity utilities. Mr. Dreyer is a Certified Public Accountant, registered in the state of Illinois.

PJ Browne
Group Company Secretary
Patrick James (PJ) Browne (34) was appointed EcoSecurities Group Company Secretary in June 2008. Prior to this, PJ worked for Agcert International plc, where he acted as Director of Risk and Treasury, as well as Group Company Secretary. Before joining Agcert, PJ held a variety of finance related roles at organisations such as Meridian, ESB and Enrst & Young. PJ has a degree in commerce from University College Galway and is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
