The Second Annual Forest Carbon Offsetting Survey 2010

If you are an organisation already engaged in or thinking about engaging in green issues please click here.

Last year EcoSecurities partnered with Conservation International, Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Standards and ClimateBiz to conduct a survey on the key issues facing buyers or potential buyers of carbon offsets from forestry projects. Over 120 organisations completed the survey and the results can be freely downloaded by clicking the following link: Forest Carbon Report 2009.

As the report was such a success we have decided to run the survey again and work with our key partners plus Norton Rose’s forestry division to ensure this study continues to be as informative, comprehensive and invaluable as possible.

For this survey to be a true success we need your contribution and opinions on topics such as what are the most desirable standards, locations and types of forest carbon projects? Why does your company purchase these types of projects? Has the lack of progress on the issue of forestry and REDD had an impact?

We would therefore like to invite you to anonymously express your views by simply clicking this survey link: Forest Carbon Survey 2010. The results report will be published and freely available towards the end of April 2010.

Thank you in advance for your help and support in making this a success!

Yours sincerely,

EcoSecurities' Global Marketing Team
