Role Summary
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most established and high growth companies in the voluntary carbon market. The Business Development Associate will contribute to the team and lead processes in the origination and structuring of new projects. For the right candidate, this is the opportunity to excel. Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities
Hunter profile for prospecting and negotiating opportunities.
Supporting the development of the business and origination strategy and executing it.
Participate and conduct meetings with prospects/clients.
Maintain relationship with prospects/clients.
Prospect new business and partnership opportunities and turn them into long-term relationships.
Elaborate/ support the elaboration of proposals, presentations, spreadsheets for feasibility and pricing analysis and review contracts.
Maintain the records of business development activity on the Customer Relationship Management software.
Qualifications
Essential:
Graduation in administration, economics, law, engineering and science;
Expertise in Power Point;
Proficient in Excel.
Desirable:
Commercial experience;
Carbon market, environmental finance experience is a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of post - degree with experience in business development, sales, finance and/or consulting.
Skills / Knowledge
English and Portuguese advance speaker with excellent written and verbal communications;
Financial / business acumen;
Effective business communication (written and verbal).
