Role Summary
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most established and high growth companies in the voluntary carbon market. The Technical Manager will manage and lead the Brazilian Nature Based Solutions technical team. For the right candidate, this is the opportunity to excel. Key Work Outputs and Accountabilities
Plan ahead and track the projects’ activities and deliverables with the team members;
Lead the development of technical expertise and follow updates in the field;
Lead/ participate of project’s meetings with clients, partners and/ or service providers;
Support the company’s advocacy effort with governments, NGOs and associations;
Look after the team’s career development;
Lead the maintenance of projects’ registries in the company’s systems.
Qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor degree in Sciences,
Engineerings or Administration;
Experience managing people and projects;
Expertise in Power Point;
Proficient in Excel.
Desirable:
Experience with carbon projects;
Experience with Microsoft Project;
Master degree in Sciences, Engineerings or Administration
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of post-degree experience in projects’ management, technical roles and/or consulting.
Skills / Knowledge
Projects’ management;
People management;
English and Portuguese advance speaker with excellent written and verbal communication;
Financial / business acumen.
